A ‘Fathers Day‘ historical cooking experience for Dads and Grandads in the 19th century
A ‘Fathers Day‘ historical cooking experience for Dads and Grandads in the 19th century
Haddenham Croft Cottage.
You will be making scones (savoury or sweet) and butter. The scones will be cooked on a griddle or skillet on the cast iron cooking range, fuelled by wood and coal. This method of cooking goes back many centuries so is a real taste of the past!
The course will be led by Jenny, an experienced cookery tutor and reenactor.
When booking please indicate which type of scone you wish to make, ie sweet or savoury.
This is a private workshop for just two people, so makes the perfect Fathers Day present for you and your dad or grandad to experience together.
