May Day Merriment
Be transported back in time to the Elizabethan era, and have an insight into the lives and festivities of that period. There will be music and dancing and a display of firepower. Soldiers will lead new recruits (the audience!) in a military drill, and there will be a display of fine swordsmanship. In between, you can explore the encampment and see what is being eaten, drunk, made and mended.

Bucks Music Trust Summer Festival
We’re very pleased to be hosting Bucks Music Trust’s Summer Festival at the Museum again. Around 600 young musicians, aged between 4-18 years ranging from beginners to advanced, will be performing on two stages in the open air, with groups, ensembles and choirs of all different types.

Carriage Driving Show
We will be hosting the the Bucks, Beds and Herts British Driving Show where you can see traditional and modern horse drawn carriages in arena parades.

COAM’s Halloween Spectacular is back on Friday 31 October from 5pm to 9pm. Come and join us for an evening of spooky fun. See our buildings dressed up spooctacularly, listen to spine tingling storytelling, watch out for the spooky horses, warm yourself up by the bonfire and toast some marshmallows, brave the scary walk but watch out for monsters! Enjoy the amazing fire-performance and take part in family activities.

Qigong Taster Session
This taster session will follow a typical Qigong class starting with a gentle head to toe warm up which will prepare the mind and body for learning the first few moves of Shibashi, and finishes with a pat down. This will give an excellent insight into the approach to learning and practicing the technique. Practiced regularly, the series of movements become a moving mediation.
