Wimbledon Tennis Museum Talk

Wimbledon Tennis Museum Talk

Join Malin Lundin, Senior Curator (Maternity Cover), to explore contemporary collection at Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum.

Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum explores the stories of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, The Championships and Lawn Tennis and contains over 1000 items on permanent display with regularly changing exhibitions and interactives for everyone to enjoy. Each year during The Championships, the Museum actively collects items that best represents that year’s tournament. Items collected include kit belonging to players, fan memorabilia, ephemera like tickets and programmes, in addition to items created by the AELTC and official partners for tournament use. This collecting enables the Museum to continue to tell the story of The Championships. Some items are displayed immediately after The Championships, allowing visitors, who perhaps were not able to come over the Fortnight, a chance to experience the event.

The talk takes place in Elliott’s Workroom at the Museum.

Please arrive at the Museum least 20 minutes before the start of the talk to allow time to get there.

Our buggy is available to transport those who may need additional help getting to the venue, or you can hire our mobility scooters.
