Learn about the uses of Amber in pre-historic times

Archaeologist and Amber artist Vanessa Bunton will be demonstrating how amber has been worked through time from the Palaeolithic through to the early medieval period. Vanessa uses experimental archaeology to recreate amulets, buttons, beads, necklaces, gaming pieces and ornaments from archaeological finds. She displays her pieces and shares her knowledge through workshops, and displays and living history.
