Easter Activities for All
There’s loads of things to see and do at Chiltern Open Air Museum during the school holidays.
Come and discover our fascinating historic buildings and expansive grounds, taking in the sights and sounds of spring. Explore our gardens to see the spring flowers emerging and aay hello to the new-born lambs in our lambing field.
Travel back in time in our collection of buildings from around the Chilterns - from a replica Iron age roundhouse to the 1970s kids bedroom of our Victorian cottage. Visit the 1950s in our prefab or imagine life in the 18th Century in Leagrave Cottage.
Learn about the two world wars in our Nissen huts or what lessons were like in a Victorian schoolroom.
Visit our heritage farm and learn about traditional rural life in the Chilterns.
Play in our adventure playground, have fun following our Easter trail and take part in self-led family activities.
Special Events During the Easter Holidays
Along with our Easter family activities listed above, there will be extra kids activities to enjoy at the Museum on Terrific Tuesdays & Fantastic Friday.
We’re also pleased to have a civil war living history group on site on 12 & 13 April, and you will be transported back to medieval times with the fantastic Plantagenets at our Medieval Festival on 19, 20 & 21 April.
