Unlock your sewing potential and conquer your machine with confidence at Sewing MachinEase – the ultimate 1-day sewing machine workshop for beginner sewers, where you’ll learn to thread, stitch, and adjust your machine, and create a beautiful apron project to take home!
The session is led by experienced tutor and costume maker Vee Tanner. The course is very hands-on.

There will be an hour’s lunch break, so please bring your own packed lunch or purchase a light lunch in our Village Kitchen
You’ll need to bring your sewing machine, accessories and basic sewing kit (eg. scissors, thread, pins). There’ll be an opportunity to purchase a basic sewing kit on the day.
Vee Tanner is a costume maker leading our volunteer sewing team recreating costumes for our costumed engagement team. She’s had over 35 years of experience designing and sewing an array of garments and costumes. She founded Sew Bee Yourself, an online sewing club for budding dressmakers to improve their sewing skills.
