Elliott & Sons Cafe
Our café is housed in what was for nearly 100 years Elliott & Sons furniture factory in High Wycombe. The town was the centre of the famous Chilterns chair making industry and so it is only fitting that we have created a seasonal and Chilterns-inspired menu. We work with fantastic local suppliers and our team of allotment volunteers here at the Museum to produce tasty changing specials alongside our regular menu of homemade lunchtime classics.
Our Village Kitchen in Skippings Barn is the place to go to pick up a snack or a picnic to take with you as you explore the region. There’s a wide range of healthy and slightly naughtier treats, and both of our outlets cater for a wide range of diets with lots of allergen and vegan friendly options.
We can also offer sandwich platters and other catering options for groups (must be booked in advance).
Furniture Factory Tea Rooms Opening Times
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays and Bucks State School Holidays: 11am – 4pm
Group visits and venue hire: extended opening hours by prior arrangement
Mothers are welcome to breastfeed on site. If you would like a chair or a private space then please ask a member of our team. We know breastfeeding can be thirsty work so please let us know if we can grab you a glass of water. If you’ve ordered food and want to start breastfeeding while you wait, let our staff know and we’ll make sure that your food is brought over to you.
There are lots of picnic benches around the site should you want to bring your own lunch.
