Prices and Opening Times Chiltern Open Air Museum in Buckinghamshire

Opening Dates

Opening Days for 2022

April to September – Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays during term time and daily during Bucks school holidays.
October – Saturdays and Sundays and daily during Bucks school holidays.

The Museum will close standard entry to the public after Thursday 27th October. We will re-open for special events on the evening of 28th October and on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th December.

We are open from 10am – 5pm

Ukranian Refugees

We are pleased to welcome Ukrainian refugees to the museum free of charge on all standard admission days.

Tickets can be pre-booked online up until midnight the night before, after which tickets can only be bought on the door.

Concessions and carers

Concessions refer to over 60s, registered disabled and/or in receipt of DLA or PIP or students (evidence will be required).
Free admission for one carer or companion of a paying disabled visitor in receipt of DLA or PIP.


Gift Aid

Gift Aid* The Museum is a charity and all admission prices include a voluntary donation of 10%. If you are a UK tax payer please tell our ticket officer that you are happy for the Museum to claim Gift Aid on your admission. Gift Aid donations to the Museum allow us to claim an extra 25% from the government on the total amount that you pay to us, at no extra cost to you.
